Upon joining the company in 2007, however, Dohrwardt not only became a crucial part of a growing leader in North American energy and home services, but a resident and member of the Greater Houston community. Since that time, Dohrwardt has not only made numerous contributions to his firm, but to many nonprofit events, causes and in-need populations throughout the Houston area. Since moving to Houston more than a decade ago, Dohrwardt has:
· Served as leader of numerous Build-a-Bike teams. In this role, Dohrwardt has led an effort to assemble more than 300 bicycles each year, those which were sent to Houston schools and awarded to students for improving their reading skills.
· Served as leader of multiple team-related events at the Houston-area Children’s Hospital.
· Provided leadership to numerous events to benefit the Houston Food Bank, which serves as a much-needed resource to hungry families throughout the Houston area.
